With the fast-paced advancements in technology, CFK is constantly refurbishing 2 to 3-year-old hardware to hand out to every child. CFK is NOT income-based, every child may apply. If we receive a computer that none of our children can use, we will simply tear it down and recycle the parts we can. Using sustainable practices, Computers for Kids can help more children by enhancing their education with technology at home.

Our Recyclers

Finding the best recycler isn't as easy as it seems. With new laws coming into effect yearly, CFK is always looking for recyclers who are making a difference in the United States. We use recyclers who are R2 Certified or E-Steward Certified. We believe that outcomes matter most, so downstream management of materials is important.
