What's on your Hard Drive?
Secure Erase (SE) is a state of the art facility employing the best of technology in data removal processes, security enhancement, and data theft prevention.

Removing and disposing of computer equipment is not as easy as throwing the equipment into a trash bin or donating it to a charity. Your organization is responsible for not only disposing of the equipment in an environmentally correct manner but also ensuring that private/confidential data has been completely destroyed.
Secure Erase provides an entire solution for secure shipping, removal, retirement, and certified data sanitization of your hard drives. SE eliminates your data security risk through tested and proven data security and sanitization processes. SE is the only fully auditable and monitored electronic data sanitization service in the Northwest.
What Makes SE Different?

-
Within the walls of our building, there is a state-of-the-art 1,000 square foot vault consisting of 8" steel-reinforced concrete walls and ceiling, camera monitored and equipped with an alarm system to ensure extra protection of your hard drive equipment teardown.
-
All SE employees undergo extensive background checks, are U.S. citizens, must accept and sign non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, and must continue to participate in ongoing training on security procedures.
-
SE knows that each computer has two assets: one is the hard drive/serial number, and the other is the computer/serial number.
-
SE provides certification of sanitization and destruction for the unique serial number of each hard drive.
-
Services available include on-site shredding at your place of business.
-
SE has a $5,000,000 insurance policy. Most companies offer insurance policies worth no more than $1,000,000.
-
SE never wipes a hard drive in a machine.
-
Complete inventory scanning on all computer components ensures maximum quality control.
-
Computer recycling is done with an EPA-certified recycler.
-
SE performs data recovery and back-ups as well as investment recovery and reuse.
-
SE does not sub-contract the sanitization of your hard drives. We treat your hard drive information as if it were our own.
-
Our affiliation with Computers for Kids allows SE to offer promotional computer donation drives on your behalf in your community. We do all the work and you get all the credit!
